Media Literacy: Solutions that work | Join us in Minsk!
Media Literacy Solutions Forum in Minsk, Belarus, will gather more than 100 journalists, educators, civil society activists, influencers and representatives of international organizations from Belarus, USA, UK, Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Italy, Poland, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Montenegro, Serbia and other countries. This two-day event will take place in Minsk, Belarus, at the “Ў Gallery,” October 18–19, 2019.
The goal
The forum aims to explore solutions for enhancing media literacy in the region of Eastern Europe and Eastern partnership, connect existing media literacy initiatives, and share best practices.
There are going to be discussions, workshops, unconference, networking, and open space for developing new joint media literacy initiatives and projects. During the Forum, we are going to create visual media literacy map with the help of the participants.
Participants of the Forum represent different sectors:
• journalists and other media professionals;
• educators (formal and non-formal education, for children and adults);
• civil society activists, representatives of media literacy initiatives and projects.
