Humor and Games for Social Good Forum will be held in Yerevan

More than 48 digital communicators from 30+ countries will meet in Yerevan for “Humor and Games for Social Good”, the most “playful” Forum ever held in Digital Communication Network history!

A “funny start”

The Humor & Games for Social Good Forum is a two-day event that will focus on current trends and the latest developments in social impact influencer spaces, using humor and games, as tools for social causes. The 6th of September is the “Humor Day”, with 22 presentations by stand-up comedians and digital experts from all over the world who use humor on their projects.

Shall we play?

During the second “Gaming Day”, participants will experience a real-game challenge having the opportunity to attend in Parallel Workshops. The final act of the Forum is an event during which the audience will vote on five game designs, created by teams, prior and during the event, to address issues of importance that can be supported through gamification, as identified by the City of Yerevan.

The five international teams of five members (5X5) with developers and designers from Slovenia, led by DCN member Ziga Vrtacic, will present their projects at the closing social and the audience will vote and choose the winner to receive a $5,000 grant, for game development. The game will be donated to the Municipality of Yerevan.

Gaming for Social Good will showcase their potential to positively address challenges. The goal is to generate interest and participation, around solving one pressing social issue by injecting fun into the equation! Join us for a two-day adventure with a lot of inspiration!
